Having a child goes hand in hand with certain hopes, dreams and aspirations.
When finding out that a child has a hearing loss, most parents react with worry and concern. This is because they find themselves in an unusual situation without an immediate solution.
However, with support from their parents and with a little help from professionals, teachers, friends and family, children with hearing loss will be able to lead active, joyful lives like everyone else. A hearing loss doesn't necessarily limit the development and the ability to communicate, socialise and learn.
